Taking Pickleball to the Next Level in Northern Virginia
Welcome to the Loudoun Pickleball Club, a charitable, 501(c)(3) dedicated to promoting pickleball throughout Loudoun County and its neighboring communities. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, our mission is to provide a welcoming environment where beginners and pros can come together to enhance their skills, engage in friendly competition, and forge lasting connections with others who share the same values. We are dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals of all ages and abilities, including those with disabilities and health challenges, by offering accessible, fun pickleball programming, training and tournaments.
The Loudoun Pickleball Club revolves around a core philosophy: to foster the growth of pickleball with a spirit of inclusivity, education, and camaraderie. We strive to build and maintain a supportive atmosphere where players are encouraged to improve their abilities, engage in local competitions, and enjoy the fellowship of this social sport. All while supporting worthwhile causes that provide a powerful intersection between pickleball and programs that positively impact those in our community and beyond.
As a non-profit, we participate in several programs that align to our mission. This includes programs that empower young adults with disabilities to remain socially connected and physically active through pickleball. Furthermore, we’re pioneering a program targeting the expansion of pickleball for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Recognizing the sport’s capacity for preserving fitness and potentially offering therapeutic benefits, we’re eager to explore its positive impact on disease management. We also support Alzheimer’s research initiatives. Recently, Loudoun Pickleball Club hosted a pickleball pop-up with all proceeds going to ‘Ride for Alzheimers’.
Our efforts extend beyond the court as we actively engage in advocating for the development and maintenance of pickleball facilities in Northern Virginia. We collaborate with local governments and organizations to promote the sport, and volunteer our services to offer learning opportunities through pickleball clinics and training.
